White whale
The dolphin therapy with participation of white whales is viewed as a very perspective direction. The echolocator of a white whale is more powerful than that of dolphins. That means that the therapeutic effect of the sonophoresis may be greater.
The International Institute of Dolphin Assisted Therapy carries out the unique field researches with the purpose of studying of communication of white whales (Delphinapterus leucas) and Black Sea aphalines (Tursiops truncatus). The possibilities of communication between humans and whales are also studied.
WThe white whales are calmer than the dolphins and may be successfully used during therapeutic seances for special patients, for instance, children with eyesight or hearing disorders.
It'll be possible to vary the kinds of therapy: carry out several sessions with dolphins and then — with white whales, or let the patient choose the co-therapist.
